Portofino - Auckland

After a long day, I had a wonderful culinary experience at this restaurant. The chef graciously accommodated our request for a modification to her recipe since we are gluten-free, and the fresh pasta dish was outstanding. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for authentic cuisine, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere.

This is an incredible spot for groups, families, or a romantic dinner. I've sampled nearly everything on the menu—from pasta and salads to pizza, cocktails, and desserts—and I loved it all! It has quickly become one of my favorite places. The food is fresh and delicious. Plus, the staff at this restaurant is wonderfully pleasant, so I have no complaints at all.

My partner frequently visits for lunch and dinner, and she often praises your service and food. She plans to write a review, mentioning how impressed she was with the customer service and the respectful, polite treatment she received. A friend recommended Portofino to her, and she intends to take her boyfriend there for a meal, as well as bring me along during our next visit. She raved about the excellent seafood lunch and pasta, and I believe she ordered the steak tonight based on her friend's strong recommendation. Just stopped in for a couple if beers, Peroni is on tap as well as other bottled beer, wine and spirits. Place is very ambient with good mood lighting to go with efficent and professional service, on the main drag, best to park at the Wilson's carpark 70 meters away.
