Can’t believe I found an izakaya which exactly looked and tasted the same with those in Japan!!<br/ <br/ The unagi (River eel over rice) was authentic and not fishy at all. Tasty.<br/ <br/ The shochu cocktail was refreshing and I loved it!<br/ <br/ Best Japanese izakaya I’ve ever been in Auckland!

This place has quickly become a favourite for a quick lunch and catchups. Their Donburis always hit the right spots and the affordable pricing has me always coming back for more. The low lighting and hidden location adds a lot to the attraction. Great for any occasion!

Quick and friendly service. Amazingly fresh fish and sushi. Good quality food. Beautiful agudashi tofu. Will return again! Amazing value for money!

We totally enjoyed our experience at the Don,service was quick and polite and the food was delicious and very cheap, definitely go back again
