This is the best cafe on the street of Howick. There is a reason it is always busy. Father Ted is running a fine operation with great coffee, service and food. The staff are very warm and it is a great place to be on a Saturday or Sunday morning for your weekend brunch/coffee. Likewise, there have been many afternoons where plans have been made to pop in for a beer but I tend to find myself there until late in the night tucking into either the famous battered fish, huge pizzas or beef burgers. The antique atmosphere and bright lights make you feel as if you are in the comfort of your own living room. Always a welcoming place to be in.

Great atmosphere, super friendly staff..... This place serves up the best fries around!!! Service was Gd and all the food was scrummy. Thanks Apothecary for a great night
