The beer garden is very nice and also quiet. Here you can have a good time....The Coktails which are on offer are also very tasty. The waiting times were relatively short. Even without a reservation we got a place in the beer garden after o'clock. This is also because it is very large. Parking places are to enough available. There is a star deduction only because in the end the service was really unfriendly. We gave a tip and they did not thank us but only put it in their pocket and left quietly and quickly. Unfortunately this was very unfriendly. But it is to be recommended in any case.
I was in this restaurant with some friends and we really liked it. Real mexican food, nice atmosphere and very nice people serving there.
They play some seriously great salsa and latin music in this restaurant. The atmosphere is great kind of summery/beachy with a winter garden to sit outside even when it's cold. The food is amazing, I have never had a bad meal here. The price is...dlightly higher than most places but well worth it especially as the serving sizes are huge! Not as blown away with their Margarita's as with the food but not bad either. I love coming here
First of all, a very pleasant experience! The building itself is unique , nothing you would expect in rather rural Bavaria. Nice, cosy, a bit worn, but not in a bad way. The food was outstanding, tender and tasty ribs, rarely seen outside the States....My girlfriend went for a burrito and was likewise surprised. Nice and attentive staff on top, and a really appealing cocktail menu. Thumbs up! Really nice place and an unusual but pleasant discovery!
My husband and I went here with some friends. My husband just had a total knee replacement including the Tibia bone and had broken most of the bones in his body during an accident. This was one of his first visits out in nearly I explained this to the manager and asked if we could have ONE comfortable chair from inside. His response was a curt NO the chair would get ruined, and walked away before we could order. It was gorgeous weather no rain. Not sure how my husband planned on ruining the chair. We waited quite a long time for basic nachos and rattler beers. It's not rocket science. They forgot part of our order as well. After about minutes my husband was naturally uncomfortable, and wanted to go. I went and asked another waiter to please let him sit in a wicker chair with a cushion which he immediately brought! Because he was a human being! At this point my hubs was in too much pain from sitting in a small wooden chair and we wanted to leave. Again we waited for the manager so we could pay, minutes later because twice he walked away on his phone as we tried to pay. If he really knew what he was doing he would have made my husband comfortable and the other girls would've stayed and drank and ate for hours. Not so intelligent. And incredibly RUDE!! The food is second rate at best. Im from North America and sometimes crave Mexican. This just isn't it. I'm always disappointed here. Typically it's rude staff slow service and mediocre food at best. Once again Joe Pena's didn't let us down! Time for a New Mexican place
