The food was incredible! The owner was very friendly. Although there was a bit of a wait, the overall experience was fantastic!
A true gem! This is the only Moroccan restaurant I've come across in the Denver area—possibly even in all of Colorado. This charming, unpretentious eatery exceeded my expectations, especially since I had never tried Moroccan cuisine before. They have great options for vegetarians and plenty of gluten-free choices (like me), so there was no shortage of delicious food. The portions are HUGE—absolutely massive! You’ll fall in love with this place just as we did!
Was excited to try this place but felt disappointed by the taste/value to price ratio. We ordered lamb tagine, chicken tagine, hummus, babaganoush, and artichoke and olive salad. The lamb flavor was pretty good, I reccomend it over the chicken tagine which was basically large pieces of dry chicken breast. It didn't seem like it was cooked in a tagine at all. Tagine portions are large but it's 70% couscous. Tagine, hummus, babaganoush could use more salt. The salad was basically lettuce with canned artichoke and olives, no unique flavor.
This place isn't what it once was. Menu is getting more limited. Owner is nice and an all, but you can tell he's super burned out. When we were served water, we were handed a bottle. CC machine was down, so we had to pay in cash (which luckily my friend had). I'm really sad to see it this way, this used to be one of my favorite restaurants
