Hacienda Arandinas - Austin

Pretty good Tex Mex, really good service. This seems like more of a breakfast/brunch spot, but we had a pretty nice, casual dinner here. Everyone seemed to really enjoy their food, except for me who got the fajitas. The chicken and beef were both a rather dry/tough. All the sides were really good but I would order something different if I return. The place was clean and the service was really great.

On Friday April 29th we were five ladies that spend over 180 dollars on food and margaritas. Once the mariachis started playing we were done eating and we sat there to finish our drinks. The bartender came and offered some churros for free.. once he brought them the owner came to the table and in a very rude way, hitting the table... in Spanish he asked us to leave because other costumers we're waiting.. when I looked around there were 5 empty tables and no one waiting to be seated... We were very upset because we had enough to drink and we didn't want to order more alcohol.. we paid for what was supposed to be free and walked out... I suggest that no one should go to that place because you are going to be kicked out by the owner if you take too long to eat or you don't want to order anymore drinks. Of course we are never going back and we will tell everybody not to go there.

It's so close to home which is very convenient, however I'd rather go the distance. The queso tastes like they melted velveeta in a bowl, the rice was cold and the beans were funky. The chimichanga was ok. Everything else tastes old or frozen : maybe just a bad day for them as they were very slow not many people in there. Ask for beer or margarita only : the waitress was very nice and professional but the menus were sticky and dirty as well.

Such great food. Wonderful service and the mariachi band was the icing on the cake. Such an enjoyable evening

Back in like 8th grade i went here and got their flautas, and they tasted like the frozen taquitos that you buy from heb. very disappointed. then when my dad told the waitress she acted like she couldn't speak english even though her english was perfectly fine while taking our drink and food order. fix yourselves please.
