The foods are made fresh and they acknowledge food allergies, just be careful bc the kitchen doesn't know what cross-contamination means and will likely mess up with basic line items (i.e.butter, sour cream, etc). The entire time I was there with my food allergy, the manager never came to acknowledge my food issue of cross-contaminated butter (so I had a dry waffle) but the food without the accoutrement was still delicious! I have a unique allergy which most restaurant managers come to acknowledge and ensure the team knows what's going on. I recommend this restaurant, but if have food allergies make sure to be very specific about your food; its annoying but necessary. The lemon pomme mimosa, was good (SIGNIFICANTLY OVER PRICED), but good. Grits were a bit over peppered and the bacon (while good) was also EXTREMELY OVER PRICED. The ambiance is great inside and out but the fight with the flying insects outside made it difficult to enjoy. I would suggest the restaurant invest in fly strips and traps. Overall, a long as you take your wallet you'll have a great time! This place is not cheap!
Went for a birthday dinner. Service was pretty great. Food was good but a bit pricey considering we couldn't make modifications. We had a pre set menu and a per plate/person amount with gratiity and dessert included so the regular menu might have been more promising. Overall it was a good time at a decent place.
My first visit and Brunch today was AMAZING? I am glad I looked at the menu before I arrived because with all of the great offerings I may have taken a long time to make a choice? First let me say, EVERYTHING I read about the starter croissant and strawberry butter is true- DELISH! Now, I decided on the Polenta Benedict and boy I am glad I did! I am a foodie and enjoy trying new things, and this dish hit all the right notes. I was able to substitute the sausage, since It came with bacon, for the country potatoes, perfect choice! I also added the Pomegranate Lemon Mimosa, and it was ?strong? like a brunch drink should be, lol. The waitress Joi, I think, was from Midland and was super sweet! She recommends I come back for dinner, and after the amazing brunch, I will absolutely take her up on that offer? #iwillbeback
We were smart enough to came a few min after the opening and were invited to the table right away with our server, Kyle, greeting us shortly after. Although i came specifically for a chicken and waffle, the extensive menu was luring my attention with other appetizing offerings. We appreciated in-house made croissants with lovely pre-mixed butter and jam. The restaurant is very spacious as well as decorative, a house of an artist, I might say. All our orders came in a reasonable time of being cooked to an order and were delicious. We left with a good feeling of being welcomed and valued.
This food was utterly amazing! Howard was attentive and very polite and nice. You do have to book reservations since they are short staffed. There was live piano which I thought was so cute. Will come here again there are so many good desserts and entrees to try. My family and I came here for mother's day (mom picked this place) and we went home with 3 cheesecakes. They were delicious.
