Chicken Express - Austin

Unacceptable! As you can see in the pics all of the food looks amazing. Fries were hot and fresh. Roll was amazing. Gravy was good and the regular chicken was piping hot BUT the spicy chicken was hours old at least. Look, I could go next door to Whataburger and they will make my chicken strips when ordered. It takes a few minutes. You are a chicken restaurant. If you can not serve fresh chicken close the doors. Stop making piles of chicken and putting it under lamps. Better yet sell lamp chicken for a little cheaper for those in a hurry and regular price for those who have 5 minutes to get fresh food. You can see in my last food picture the scraps of spicy left over. No excuse!

I recommend ordering the fish. It was slightly overcooked for my taste, but the flavor was enjoyable. The fries were excellent as well. Additionally, the customer service was very good.

I've been a customer here for quite some time, and the service is usually slow. However, today was particularly frustrating. After I paid, I was asked to move up while they finished preparing my order (one #1). I then watched as they served three customers behind me. It got to the point where I had to get out of my car to ask what was taking so long, and they admitted they had forgotten where my food was supposed to go. Now I'm stuck eating this cold food, and I feel the need to vent by writing this review. I think it's time for me to stop coming here.

I ordered via UberEats tonight and mainly ordered to impress out of towners with their delicious corn nuggets, unfortunately the nuggets never made it with our Uber driver due to dinner rush. I called the store after attempting to reach anyone from Uber without luck to ask if they can comp it for our next visit and the Owner not only insisted on making it right, he hand delivered the corn nuggets himself, they take customer service to a whole new level, I was already a happy customer and now I am a lifetime customer! Thank you y?all so much!

I wish I had gotten the names of the crew that was there just now but the young blonde guy singing at the drive thru window and the guy who took my order through the drive thru were awesome! I'd never been here before and this was the best customer service I've experienced in a minute. I'll definitely be back!!! And the food is bomb! Fish is seasoned perfectly and chicken is very good. We'll definitely be back! Thanks for a great experience
