El Faro Mexican Food - Austin

Eating was very dirty. I ordered simple bark and cheese enchiladas and they had no season in them at all! my man got a cube and he said they were not good either. the gorditas of my daughter were also cold and slandered and they put thin, white creamy dressing (french on their salat. I've never seen a Mexican restaurant before. also the sauces that they were put on the table were sour as if they were not properly stored. I wanted to like this place because of the reviews, but it was a big disappointment. the server was cordial, but not excessively nice and the person in the back that made the food showed no enthusiasm for preparation. the tortillas were commercial and this is a big no-no in my book. there was a service fee for my reception (for a table of three I don't know where all these good reviews come from. Make it better, faro!

Personal very friendly and attentive protection barriers between tables

Eating is so fresh and it came super fast. it is full service, but they can be ordered at the theke, which is cool when they are on a limited lunch break. the salsas are the next stage. if they are like me and like to be liberal, pay attention to the red salsa, it is hot!

Love this place! I've been going regularly for about 4 or 5 months; not only because the food is great, but also because the service is AMAZING. If I've had to wait for a table the GM is always accommodating and making sure we have everything we need. Also, I have called the restaurant to make a reservation for a party that is larger than usual and they have been very helpful. In general, the service is great and the food is to die for!

Awful! Two tacos and the eggs were burnt and the sausage and bacon had no flavor. The restaurant had a awful odor. I should have turned around and walked out. There must be better Mexican restaurants in Austin.
