Coming here was a nice surprise as far as food is concerned. I had Mole which was delicious and so tasty! And most of the people that were on our party had a good experience as well. I have to say the server couldn’t handle the big group plus the other tables. So it was obvious they were short on staff. Which sucks! She did her best but when you have worked at a restaurant you know how hard it can be dealing with so many people at once. So hopefully this is taken care of!
The Sunday brunch was terrific. The food was fresh and very well displayed with the chef/owner tending to everything constantly. Staff is attentive and efficient. Owner is delightful and engaging. Highly recommend and definitely don't miss the mole dishes and flan!
This is a fantastic spot for Sunday brunch with a variety of Mexican traditional favorites. The Chef at the buffet does an excellent job with the food. It could have been a five-star experience, but the service from the server and hostess was not the greatest.
That could be a pretty good restaurant, but at the moment they are short on the staff and I recommend going somewhere else. we made a reservation and showed up on time. they told us that they couldn't sit us right, that we had to wait because they had only personal and they didn't want us to wait for our table to be served. the other possibility was to stand where you waited, which was not a better option, which I pointed out. After 3 different people came by and told us why they couldn't finally sit on us. we should have stayed at this point, but we didn't. the service was not that bad, so I don't know what the panic was about. eating was just okay. atmosphere not great. I wouldn't go back. there are too many other restaurants in austin to get better eating, service and attention.
