It’s cheap, and does what it aims to do well. I imagine in the summer it is a lot more crowded with the cool garage doors that they could open up. The inside has its charm, but I think if you are craving a hotdog this is a good place to try. IG:EvanEatsTheWorld
Old school burger place with modern options. You can dine in or order to-go. Order at the counter and they call your name on the loudspeaker when it's ready. We tried a couple of the specialty burgers. Unfortunately they were super soggy by the time we got home. The jalapeno cheddar bun was too thin. The Violet Crown burger with blue cheese was tasty, but the cheese was too crumbly (would be better with gorgonzola). They come with mixed sweet potato and regular fries which is cool! They have a Maine Root soda fountain and cans of beer to drink. Fun place but gave us a gut ache
I love Phil's! I'd say one of the best burger places around Austin. Not only are their burgers and fries good but their buffalo chicken tenders are amazing. They have a nice little kick to them. And if you have sweet tooth Amy's ice cream is right next door to satisfy that craving. Highly recommend.
Love this place so much! Some of the best burgers in Austin, and the Amy's next door doesn't hurt either ; they also have gluten free buns vegan and vegetarian options! I love their sweet potato fries some of the best in town!
Excellent burgers that are good size. I was very happy they cooked to requested doneness, medium. Onion rings are my favorite side dish, but I highly recommend the fried green beans, they're are so unique, crispy, and delicious.
