Rice Bowl Cafe - Austin

This has always been one of my favorite hidden gems! The fried rice is packed with flavor, richness, and a delightful smokiness that can only come from a perfectly seasoned pan. The sesame tofu paired with the fried rice is simply divine—it's a harmonious blend of sweetness, depth, and a touch of heat!

The three-cup chicken is the best in town—definitely my favorite main dish!

A hidden gem! When I first arrived, I wasn't sure about the place as the exterior didn't quite match my aesthetic preferences. However, once I stepped inside, I noticed a charmingly old-fashioned vibe. The staff were incredibly attentive, and our food arrived at lightning speed. The portion sizes were generous, and the flavors? Absolutely delightful! We started with scallion pancakes as an appetizer, which were light, crispy, and packed with savory goodness. For the main courses, we ordered dry Szechwan chicken, salt and pepper chicken, and beef fried rice. There was more than enough food for four people, with leftovers for two additional meals. Everything was delicious, and I'm thrilled to have discovered this place to return to in the future.

The waitress was super sweet, kitchen was also able to make it even extra spicy for me. Very clean and quickly made the food. Big portions so sharing is easy. I recommend this place highly.

I ordered the beef and broccoli through DoorDash, and I enjoyed a delicious meal in just about 15 minutes! The vegetables were cooked to perfection, and I was pleasantly surprised to find crunchy, freshly roasted noodles as well. I highly recommend this restaurant and appreciate the excellent DoorDash drivers!
