However, we got a table very quickly for a party of 5 and a toddler. The service is also very quick. During my visit, we tried multiple dishes here. I would recommend the Idli, idiyappam combo with mutton curry and the kothu parotta. I wasn't a big fan of the mutton biryani, but it was decent. The place was pretty packed, but the servers were very efficient. Quick note: They serve hard drinks as well and have karaoke nights and ladies' nights on Thursday. Overall, I would definitely go here again, especially to try out their special thali's.
Order only Chettinad dishes, they are good. Others are avg.we had a south style non-veg thali, pepper shrimp and parotta with veg kurma. The shrimp were awesome, spicy and cooked perfectly. The parotta was also very good, crispy soft and layered. The veg kurma was so so.The thali was mix experience. I liked the way it came. Its been a while since I had thali in a restaurant and wanted to taste all the variety of dishes that come in a thali. So the best part of thali was surprisingly the raas-malai, initially I thought it was payassam, who would guess a raasmalai in south indian thali. Anyways it was really tasty. The other two items I liked were the chicken curry and rice. They said it was madras style curry. The other items in the thali were avg. chicken appetizer was fried chicken like a pakoda, coated with some flour base, it was cold and soggy. Bread option was naan or chappti. I had naan which was ok, they should have parotta or appam option for South Indian thali.Other veg dishes were dry carrot subji, dal fry, sambar and rasam. All avg.Overall a good experience if you order the right thing.
Always tasty and way too filling. We usually have enough for take away with 2 more meals for me at home. The spice combinations are a delight. Just the perfect mix of spice and heat, with plenty of items to cool your palete down or take it up a notch. I take it up... We started out meal with a cup of free vegetable soup. Then came the very crispy, warm and delicious dosa pancake with masala stuffing. It came with 4 condiments, all tasty and unique when added to to dosa. I could of stopped there but was craving the Thali vegetarian lunch consisting of 8 or so various refillable dishes. All delicious. My partner had the non vegetarian, which he enjoyed. And as always, we came home with 2 more meals for the price of $40.Vegetarian options: Plenty of tasty vegetarian options.Kid friendliness: Roomy with various seating options for families.Parking: Free open parking.Wheelchair accessibility: ADA accessible curbs and assigned parking spots.
Our second visit here. Been to a lunch today, had to register at the entrance to get in the queue and you get alerted when a table is ready. This is nice and organised way to handle the customer queue. We ordered non-veg meals. The veg and non veg curries along with sweets were all good. We were served by Arjun and he provided a very friendly customer service.Only feedback I would say is the table size for 2 people is insufficient to place all the items as can be seen in the picture.27 May, 2023 update Tried Seeraga Samba Goat biryani, it was very flavoursome and tasty. Sree served us and she has great customer service skills.17 June, 2023 Tried veg thali, food was great. Arjun provided excellent customer service as usual ??Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian options.Parking: I've never had issues finding parking.
Good spot for Indian food. This place can get really crowded over weekends so expect long wait times but they have a good notification process where you give your number and get notified when the table is available. The food is good we specifically had the lunch Thali, which was really good. You get good quantity and it is tasty. Service is quick as well.Visited this on a weekend and it was really busy and crowded!
