I'd put her under Rudy's. The Mac and the cheese were not very cheap and the BBQ sauce was too watery. In any case, would come back and try the other meat.
We ordered sausages, turkeys, brisket, pork and ribs (1/2 lb each), and each of them was delicious. We also ordered Mac cheese, potato salad, Brussels spears, corn and fries as secondary dishes (1 serving each), and all were also delicious! We (4 people) almost couldn't stop all food! We also asked for onions, pimples and divided plates, which were not initially provided. In this restaurant there was a large parking lot for customers. Overall we had a great experience!
Great cook on the meat, brisket passed the finger test but lacked the amount of smoke I like on the meat. The rub on it was great, but not the best I've had in the area. If you are a coleslaw enthusiast, this place will not disappoint, easily one of the best slaws I've had. All other sides were very good, beer was cold, and portions were fair. Would definitely return.
Had best BBQ here! We had beef and pork ribs, and brisket, with Brussels sprouts, garden salad as sides and peach cobbler for desert. Meats were cooked perfect. The BBQ source does not have the typical strong sweet and smokey flavor that tends to overpower the meat flavor; instead it’s light, low key with a fresh tomato touch to it that complements so well with the BBQ. Love Brussels sprouts too! Well seasoned with a little touch of spiciness, perfect for the pallets. Mm mm yummmmmmy!
I recently had the three meat plate at Stiles Switch, and I was very impressed with the brisket, ribs, and turkey. Plus a link of their regular smoked sausage. The brisket was perfectly cooked, with a nice smoke ring and a tender, juicy texture. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, with a flavorful rub and a nice crust. The turkey was moist and flavorful, with a crispy skin. The sausage was a bit peppery (but I like pepper so it's non-issue for me, but if you are not a fan of pepper, beware)I also ordered the tres leches cake, which was unfortunately too sweet for my taste. I would recommend the tres leches cake to someone who likes very/overly sweet desserts, but it was not my cup of tea.Their beer and cider selection was also pretty great.Overall, a very good experience. The staff was very fast and friendly. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was fun and lively. I would definitely recommend Stiles Switch to anyone looking for a great barbecue spot for a family dinner.
