Sushi Junai 1 - Austin

Hidden gem. Spring Rolls 10/10. Sushi: Ex Girlfriend 9.5/10, Hot Night Roll 9.5/10. Vegetable Fried Rice 10/10.

Overall, this place is decent (although it’s unfortunate that they don’t offer a sashimi menu), but the service is less than satisfactory. After the boss’ friends came in, the waiter stopped paying attention to us and the food took longer to come out.

The food is great and so was the service. The place is small and could use some updating, but it was clean and inviting. My only complaints were that they used a little too much rice in their rolls, and the Samshimi Special was huge chunks of fish, which made the pieces chewy.

A very delicious Japanese restaurant near the hotel I stayed in during my business trip to Austin. The lunch special menu was especially well prepared and delicious. I recommend you!
