Sushi Ocean - Austin

This restaurant is fantastic. It's a hidden gem in the neighborhood, which is exactly my kind of place. It was quiet and relaxing. The food was outstanding, and the service was great too. I witnessed someone dropping their to-go order when leaving, but the waitress and sushi chef quickly came to the rescue. They apologized and fixed the presentation of the meal right away. It was really impressive to see their quick and caring response.

For starters, we ordered the fried chicken dumplings, which were delicious and freshly made. The miso soup was also hot and delicious. However, the standout dish was the Ahi tower - incredibly fresh and flavorful. It was definitely enough for more than one person to enjoy! I even had leftover to take home. Overall, I would rate the food 5/5 and the restroom was also clean. 10/10 experience.

The meal was not bad, it was of good quality. However, considering it was the lunch special, I honestly think it was overpriced. Overall, I would give the food a rating of 4 out of 5.

My brothers and I enjoyed our lunch bento boxes with lots of different options- bulgogi, teriyaki chicken, spicy pork, snapper teriyaki… but the best part of the experience was the 620 roll! We ordered another after our boxes just to keep enjoying it!

I eat sea food all the time and don’t usually right reviews but this is seriously one of my favorite spots to eat fresh sushi. We are regular customers here if you haven’t tried try Cant go wrong and they are super friendly. Delicious food ?
