Tumble22 Chicken Joint - Austin

Just the best chicken in town. Baked chicken is a niche that is usually unfilled in Austin. Sure, there are places that have fried chicken on their menu, and a few (Gus' and Lucy's) that focus on fried chicken, but they are not very good. Enter T22, the chicken we needed. No competition between this stuff and something else in the city. We went to the second day they were open and the staff still used to things. Our food took a while so the manager came by and offered us free cake slices. I understood it was the first week, I had not expected super fast service, but it was really nice of them to give us free delicious cakes, and show that they were aware of the long driving time. Even with the longer waiting, the chicken was worth it! I'm glad to come back here! Your happy hour looks good too!

Excellent food and service. I ordered the coke that was a fountain of Mexican coke. It had a different taste and our waiter Ian was more than happy to exchange him for a lemonade. I'm glad I did it because it was so good. We ordered the Pecan chocolate cake and it was so good. I recommend T22 Chicken to everyone.

Very recommended, nice clean place, lots of good service. Margaritas will immediately put a smile on your face, chicken pieces were really good cuts of meat and the sauces were fun

Tumble22 is the go to place for amazing fried chicken. I can’t stop thinking about how good the chicken was!! This is the only place you will need to go from now on to get your fried chicken fix! Let’s talk about spicy levels! I love spicy! I probably could go a level up from Hot, but hot was just right. It had a little kick to it. Usually when I order spicy fried chicken at other places, it lacks spice. Not at Tumble! It’s soo good. The pickles were different, as they are butter pickles. To my surprise, they were really good! For the sides, I had the beans and Mac N Cheese. The beans were pretty yummy, but that Mac N Cheese!!! How did they do it, because now I’m absolutely addicted!! Everything came out hot (temp) and fresh! They offer dine in seating. It’s a seat yourself environment. The waitstaff was super friendly and very attentive. Writing this review has me reminiscing about my meal. It’s making my mouth water!! Tumble22 is a must go to place!
