Grand Moon - AVALON

Food is always good. Service is fast. However, this place is more expensive than other Chinese restaurants in the area. Per meal prices are usually $4 to $5 more than comparable places. First meal on the island, no more. This is Avalon, but I think you should expect to pay Manhattan prices for everything.

Typical menu for a Chinese place, but refreshing to have one of these in Avalon. Super friendly staff. Worth the wait.

Delivery was prompt and the food was delicious. I have some dietary restrictions, but they managed to accommodate them without sacrificing taste or quality. It took just 35 minutes for the delivery to Stone Harbor, and the veggies were still crunchy—what a win! I was also pleasantly surprised to find bean sprouts on the menu, which is rare for me. I highly recommend this place. Thank you, Big Moon! You made dinner tonight easy and fantastic.

We ordered takeout and it was ready in 20 minutes. The food was excellent! I had the egg drop soup, which was rich and flavorful. I also tried the moo goo gai pan, packed with fresh vegetables and tender chicken. My husband had the anaesthesia dish, which he really enjoyed as well.

I absolutely love this restaurant! The owners are wonderful and welcoming. The takeout and delivery options are the best within a 7-mile radius. I especially enjoy the lo mein and General Tso's chicken. Highly recommended!
