We had breakfast there and it was the best during our 8-day trip over the cote d’Azur. we recommend the Baguettes/Sandwiches here! they were made fresh and full of taste.
The new abl should die for. the coffee was good. my man loved the American breakfast. all the pastries we tried were also great. one of the young people who worked there spoke English, which was so helpful! highly recommended!
Great place to have a meeting with excellent coffee brewed in Avignon. On top of this the owners are very friendly. A place to visit again in Avignon. Check it out yourself
The French restaurant custom of not opening for dinner before 7 or 8 was driving us to distraction. Virtually every night we'd check TripAdvisor for places we'd like to try only to find them closed at 5:30 6 when we were ready to have our evening...meal. We were actually going to go to the grocery and pick up salad fixings when we stumbled across Françoise. It has a café vibe to it which makes perfect sense because it's across from the local dance, theatre music conservatory. It was quite busy, but the proprietess (Françoise herself, I'd guess) got us situated right away. My wife and I each had an order of quiche with salad. Hers was a Lardon (bacon), potato and green pepper. Mine was Lardon, spinach and red pepper. Creamy, nice crust and a HUGE piece. Next time we'd probably split one. My wife had a celery cumin soup too. We loved all of it. Wholesome, homemade food. The proprietess was also quite talkative and friendly. The bill? A mere 17,40€! Quite the find. Cafés don't get much better than this. Recommended.
