The server was very attentive and great. However, the food was mediocre at best!!! The elk was VERY gamy and was not great at all, but was mentioned as their best item. At least 7 of the mussels were closed and one tasted very bad. The kids pasta was very hard and we asked if the chef could cook it longer and they just did not want to do it. The trout was very dry and overcooked. The lobster bisque was very grainy and not smooth.
Over a crowded weekend they surprisingly had a last minute spot for us. Admittedly it wasn?t our first pick but we went with it. What a surprise!! The good and service were outstanding. All four of us got something different to try it out and every entree was excellent. Pork shank fell off the bone!! Highly recommended!!
The ambience of the restaurant was great. The meat was dry and not one person liked the seafood. Our waitress ignored us since she already had gratuity added from a 10 person party. They also tried to charge us for the birthday dessert?.Won?t be back and don?t recommend coming here.
Ate at Alpine and Antlers twice on our recent visit to Beaver Creek, the menu is really diverse and the service was great. Both meals were outstanding, I'd highly recommend having a meal here!
