Phelans Pies have the best pies in the Burdekin. They are off the main street but are well worth goin to.

Have been to this place when on holiday on many ocassions. Recommended by locals, so they must be good. The pies, pasties, and sausage rolls are the best I have ever tasted. Make sure you try the peas with your pie. If you are passing through town, grab a pie and sit in one of the local parks, and enjoy. This is the only pie shop I have seen with a drive through. Closes at 2pm, so get in early.

I was struggling to find a place open early for breakfast on a Monday I was very pleasantly surprised by Deli Bo I ordered scones and a cappuccino.
