After our dinner at the Gringo, which gave us all an intense aftertaste of their tasty menu items, we decided to grab a few drinks / desserts so we can continue our chase. ???? We walked from The Block to The Annex, but as it is almost 10pm most of the shops were already closing. We ended up choosing Starbucks as it was pretty much the only option. I opted for a light drink and had been curious about their Teavana drinks for a while, so this is what I got. ✔ ICED SHAKEN HIBISCUS TEA WITH POMEGRANATE PEARLS (Php 135 - Tall) When I got my drink, I fell in love at first sight because it was such a beautiful color! ???? At the first sip, I was a little overwhelmed by its taste. I'm not sure if the drink is inherently quite bland or if my drink was just made with too much ice. ???? It tasted more like juice than tea. The pomegranate pearls were an interesting touch as they gave the drinkers a unique swallowing experience. ???? Personally, however, I am not a big fan of the pearls, as they are a bit too sour and "mapakla" for my taste. It's still a refreshing drink that is great for this summer! ???? I don't like the ambiance of this branch as the air-conditioned part is very small and can get very busy, while the outside area is close to the area where most of the smokers stay (although they haven't eaten at Starbucks) so don't Great place to stay and chat with your friends. ???? The service was ok. Hope to try the other Teavana tea drink soon! ????
The location and service are typical Starbucks guidelines. Everyone is so njce. What I don't like about this branch is that it is a bit crowded and noisy compared to other branches. But I understand it's a branch in a mall.
It's one of our favorite hangout spots in Sm North EDSA, not because it makes us cool, but because of the convenience of the place. It's near the entrance to the mall, near the escalator to the bus stop and also near the bathroom as well as the pedestrian bridge. It gets crowded every time, but the service here is good. The staff will offer to look for a chair if they can see you don't have one.
