Contribuisci feedbackWe enjoyed 3 dinners and 4 breakfast buffets in La Muse. We were a group of 12 to 14. The dinner selection was varied, beautifully presented and delicious. The staff is friendly and patient. Two of our friends had dietary restrictions that were included by the cook with appreciation. On a January winter evening the fireplace made for a cozy ambience.
The service at this restaurant was excellent and the dining area was inviting both indoors and outdoors. We particularly enjoyed our Burrata appetizer, however, we were disappointed by the lackluster entrees. Our plates contained overcooked vegetables and potatoes. We had dined at this establishment a few years ago and had given it a 5-star review.
My wife and I decided to try Bistro de la Muse at our second night in Baie Saint Paul and for my taste it was my favorite dinner during our stay. We have reserved lunch (recommended) for dinner service and had a nice table outside on the...side terrace overlooking a quiet terrace. Stephanie served us and gave us the best dinner service we had in our entire experience, and ALL the dinner service we had was excellent. Super friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, you could say she loved all aspects of her work. The meal was excellent. All portions were carefully prepared, full of taste and generous. Of course, the tastes vary, but for the mood we were this evening, they met all the right flavors. We shared warm, fresh, marinaded olives together with our ducks (salmon tartare for them and what I have for an interesting turn on insalata caprese). For the net, I had local fresh cables in tapenade and they were the lamb. Wine pairing suggestion was on site and desserts the perfect end of the experience. All plates came to us immediately, cold or warm as intended. Note to management: Although we were satisfied with all who helped us, Stephanie Gold is! Very recommended.
We had dinner at this restaurant and the staff were excellent, the food was delicious. We decided to come back for dinner tonight because we enjoyed it so much. My wife had the lamb shank and I had the trout, followed by a trio of desserts. The portions were generous and we highly recommend this place.
Food is overall good despite the fact that the lamb chops were overcooked, given the price, I`d give it an 'okay ' score. the service is where it hurts: after asking to put a note about my son 's allergies when booking AND reminding our waitress when...ordering, his dish came with nuts in it. After hearing the waitress most boring apologies, blaming the cook 's assistant, no chef, no manager ever bothered to come and see us. Very average...
