My wife and I decided to try the diapason for dinner at our last night stay in Baie-Saint-Paul and were glad that we did. my wife has some food restrictions, but had made some checks before our vacation, and the diapason had enough menu choices that could take place. we were served by eva, who turns out to be one of the peculiarities. they provided informative help in our selections and personal and attentive service as soon as we have done the order. our various dishes were all very tasteful and the presentation excellent, in the fashion of the French cuisine. eva not only knew the menu in detail, but was equally knowledgeable in their wine list and helped us to select one that we enjoyed very much. the only negative comment I would offer is that, as we had no reservation, we sat on a small table on the terrace near the street side. this brought us along with a very busy street corner on a Saturday night, with both pedestrian and vehicle traffic. the traffic noise is of course not fault and has not pampered our experience, but if they are looking for a quieter experience, I would recommend booking in advance and requesting an interior. thanks to the diapason and eva especially that we make our last night in Baie-Saint-Paul a pleasant one.
