Hammy's Burgers - Bainbridge Island

Planned a walk around the plaza and wanted to end at the hammy’s. order to be ready to pick up the website in 45 minutes. As soon as I received the order confirmation, my taste buds went into the spikel mode. we walked on boardwalk and ring, got another notification. their burgers are ready?! it was 12:45, pickup was set for 1pm. the burgers found our burgers in a pocket on the window for pickup. grabbed a table outside and started to nosh. I have a john wayne and a classic with a big basket, not like the pictures. bad from the beginning. why use something without taste and no structural integrity. burgers began to fall apart. Got only knows how much our burgers would have broken down if we had picked up in the planning. the rest of the burger was not proud. I did not find a season on the patty itself. I had hoped to enjoy the never heard of tarter dead in my big basket, but still another experience that came short. (online menu that requires a correction reading before posting) if this is the island of the best burger, bainbridge I say they can do better, a Google search for burgers on bainbridge, it sees on the only burger place. if it shines on such a low bar, please make the burgers taste like something.

No gloves worn by the cook. cashier has ordered our order wrongly twice not yet completely when we abandoned and abandoned. soda fountain was from sirup we got only mildly spiced sodawater. will not come back.

We have ordered from Hammy's for years and thought they had the best burgers but something changed. The quality of the meat just isn't the same anymore. What used to be a juicy, flavorful patty is now dry and tasteless. Don't know if it's cost cutting, a change in management, or sourcing but the burgers are not as good. Hoping they correct the problem and go back to serving the best burgers.

Food and shakes here are normally good not tonight. I ordered delivery through island bites. The bacon blue burger that I ordered was inedible the patty was tough, dry and unseasoned. The the bacon was burnt the onions that I had ordered fried crispy instead of grilled were unseasoned and burnt. I never did find the bleu cheese. Fries were good nice and crispy but the hammy sauce that I ordered for an extra $2 was not included.. I ordered an oreo malt, no malt. Very disappointed.

Great oldies feel and fun way to spend a lunch in the area. I highly recommend this food spot for anyone that wants a feel good place to eat at!
