This restaurant may be operated by the kindest people I've ever met. They went above and beyond to help us out of a tough situation, and we are incredibly grateful. During a recent storm, we had the chance to try some of their breakfast items, which were hot, freshly made, and delicious. The next time I'm in Southwest Minnesota, I'll make it a point to visit again—hopefully in better weather! Thank you, Benson's!

The pizza here is fantastic! Plus, while you enjoy your meal, you can take in the view of all the nearby grocery stores.

I found the cheeseburger to be enormous and well worth the price of $8.95. However, I was disappointed with the daily special, which was the beef commercial. The roast beef was cold, the mashed potatoes were watery and also cold, and the corn tasted like it was straight out of a can. On a positive note, the chicken strips and fries were hot and crispy, which I enjoyed. Overall, I don't think I'll be returning based on my experience.

The restaurant has an unusual atmosphere, as you enter through a convenience store to reach the dining area. However, the staff is friendly and happy to make adjustments to your order, such as adding corn to your pizza or substituting tater tots for toast and ham. The food is quite good, offering a taste of local flavor, and you can enjoy a view of the lake while you dine.
