The Tarana Hotel - BALLADORAN

I was staying in yetholme about 20 mins from tarana. This is the one of the best country pubs i have been to. Had local beef sausages that are made fresh by the farmer. And the locals are super friendly. I would recommend this to anyone nearby.

Lovely Sunday afternoon with late lunch and local duo playing in garden. Overlooking the Tarana Railway Station, there is plenty of outdoor seating or a cosy table inside. If pool is your thing, there is a table for that too.

Hard to think of a more idyllic place to sit & watch the sun go down over the country side relaxing with a beer or two.

Worst Service Ever, Very Average Food This place is probably fine if you just a want a drink at the bar, but be warned if you try to order lunch on the

We drove through and stopped for lunch and a few cold drinks. The service was good, the food was great, and the view was beautiful. We would definitely come back.
