The Wolf Cafe - Ballwin

We waited over 25 minutes for our meals today, while people who arrived after us were already being served. I found the prices to be quite high, and one of our meals was so small that it should have been a kids' meal—a $16 sandwich with just two small chicken tenders and about 10 tater tots. We were really disappointed, as we hoped to enjoy our dining experience here, especially knowing that the food is healthier.

The service was extremely slow. We waited 20-30 minutes for our cocktails and 30-40 minutes for our appetizers. Since the bar had run out of pizza, we opted for pretzels with beer cheese and large tater tots instead. The pretzel order consisted of just one pretzel croissant for $12, accompanied by a small cup of beer cheese. The large tater tots we received were roughly the same amount you'd expect as a side dish at any restaurant, and they were nothing special for $7.50. While the food at the café is good and fairly priced, the cocktail lounge was quite disappointing.

This is a full $9 order of chicken strips. $9 for two chicken strips and a bag of chips. We had to ask the server if they left some in the kitchen and she confirmed that this was the entire portion. That was on top of an almost 30 minute wait in a mostly empty restaurant. This place is ridiculous.

In from out of town; had dinner here with my four sisters, my spouse and a sister-in-law. Good food lots of healthy choices. Lots to look at with music themed paraphernalia on the walls made for a fun atmosphere and the live music was a bonus.
