Skinny's Diner - Ballycotton

This little take away is brilliant and food was delicious..we could sit out the back on benchs and the view was priceless

We've visited east Cork several times this month, have been back here each time. Lovely, safe, socially distanced sea view seating area at the rear. The staff are friendly and really seem to like their jobs, very helpful polite. The food is a cut above' the average chip shop, the burgers, sausages and chips are great. Try the peas! Just the place for that salty fish chips' taste at the seaside!

We had heard and read great reviews about Skinny's, so we decided to try it out during our visit to Ballycotton. The staff was friendly and the service was quick, with only a 10-minute wait. The chips were okay, with a crispy texture. We all agreed that the burgers were delicious. There is a garden where you can dine, but we couldn't find proper parking nearby, so we took our food back to our accommodation, a 5-minute drive away. There aren't many dining options in Ballycotton and parking is limited. Skinny's could easily be missed if you're passing by in a car, so keep an eye out if you're planning a visit.

We discovered that there are limited dining options in Ballycotton at the beginning of the week. However, if you're in the mood for fish and chips, I highly recommend this restaurant. The fish was fresh, crispy, flavorful, and served with delicious chips. Additionally, the service was friendly and helpful.

What a terrific surprise to come across Skinny’s Diner. Two weeks in Ireland and not a single fish and chip dinner beside the sea, and then we found Skinny’s. Not only was it a mostly gluten free menu, but the offerings were delicious! The fish was generous and beautifully crisp and the chips melted in the mouth. We’ll be back for sure!
