Almost every dish we ordered was over salted. Wait help was attentive but not friendly.
It was such a lovely restaurant the interior is cozy and trendy. I have to say that the waiter was a bit pretentious, rolling his eyes at our questions, not really responding when my husband noted that his steak was chewy. The two main veg options (Mushroom stew and risotto) were a bit salty.
Wonderful food. The fried oysters and mushroom stew stood out in our visit. The fired oysters were light and clean-tasting; the mushroom stew was an umami bomb, cooked in a pleasantly sour liquid featuring sorrel. The room is long and narrow with brick walls, with only some grow-lights on one wall to deflect noise, so it was pretty loud. Service was quite good, dishes came out at a good pace, though the single server seemed rushed at times. Definitely worth a trip out to northern Baltimore.
