The food at this restaurant is deliciously prepared and served with thoughtful and quick service. We were pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was for a Saturday lunch, but it could be because it's a bit tucked away.

The staff greeted us warmly upon arrival and provided quick and efficient service. The surroundings were clean and tidy. The food was well-presented and offered great value for the price.

We went for a late lunch during the week after New Year's, so the restaurant was very quiet. The food was delicious overall. We ordered pea and ham soup, fish and chips, and a rump steak. The steak was cooked rare as requested, but it had more sinew than usual. Hopefully, the chef will address this with the supplier. There was a group with learning difficulties enjoying drinks, and I observed that they were treated with respect and friendliness.
