OST Restaurant - BANDERA

More than I expected. This place is half famous as it's been in business for over 100 years. I only had a simple Omlete, but it was perfect. No burned edges that are common. Service was great and not fake friendly. In addition, it was cheap. Salad bar looked great, but I had a late breakfast. Many local shops a few steps away. The restaurant had a certain western institution that had fun.

Good place for comfort Food, atmosphere was very cozy and old-fashioned kindness. Some memories of the walls have added to the fun. If your breakfast makes sure to order sausages, they are delicious and very thick.

Had the cowboy breakfast and it was so full! Endless refills on coffee. 1921 over a hundred years strong! Great service many locals enjoy a great breakfast!

The best Hamburgersteak I ever had! Great service! They are really friendly, not 'fake' or overdone friendly as most major cities in the USA.

Downside: Waitstaff appear to know little about real cowboy history but only know about Iowa born California Hollywood actors who played cowboys. Upside: Friendly waitstaff and amazing Chicken Fried Steak. Their small portion is Texas-sized and coated with tasty gravy.
