We visited with five people on a Thursday evening. I ordered scallops and they were fantastic, tasty and fresh. My wife ordered crab cakes which were also very good. Everyone else at the table were impressed with their food too. We shared a blueberry apple crisp for dessert and it was delicious. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful explaining items on the menu. He was very busy, but still served us professionally. Note that it was very busy the week we visited Acadia, so I recommend reservations. This was our best dinner of the week that we were in Acadia.
We had lunch at Gayln’s and it was amazing. We tried the Cibatta Skins, Gayln’s pasta, and Shrimp Lafayette pasta, all of which were excellent. The service was also top-notch. We had the opportunity to chat with the family that runs the restaurant, which was a special experience. A must-visit in Bar Harbor! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The food, drinks, and service were all incredible! We ordered a beer and a (delicious! blueberry margarita, Haddock special, and the seafood linguini. All dishes came out quickly and tasted amazing! For dessert we finished up with the blueberry apple crumble and the cappuccino sundae. Wonderful!! Jennifer, our waitress was incredible!
