1000 Island - Barneveld

I've visited this wonderful restaurant many times because I truly appreciate its unique atmosphere. The staff is attentive and professional, ensuring quick service. Most importantly, the food is exceptional. I've dined there frequently, and each time has been a joyous experience. The prices are reasonable as well. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Wednesday nights have become our designated time to explore our new home in southwest Wisconsin with a sandwich and a beer. It's the perfect opportunity to get acquainted with the area, and we’re excited to discover what it has to offer.

I initially believed this restaurant was a contender for my list of hidden gems in Southwestern Wisconsin. However, after a recent visit for their Friday Fish Fry, I realized that appearances can be deceiving.

The restaurant is now under new ownership. I haven't visited since the change in management, but I know the new owners, and they've consistently provided decent bar food and drinks in the past.

The food was excellent, but the restaurant was quite busy, and they had run out of baked potatoes.
