Bank View Cafe - Barnsley

This restaurant is fantastic for a post-walk meal or just a visit. The food is homemade and sourced locally, offering wholesome dishes. The jam roly poly and custard, as well as the quiche, were delicious. The decor is charming and unique. The staff was exceptional, providing a warm and friendly experience. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

This is a fantastic place to go to after a walk around the nearby reservoir and it is dog friendly. Hearty food is the order of the day here and they certainly don’t skimp on the portions. Plenty of choice on the menu too. I had the lentil soup which was really good. I would have that again. I must mention the staff who were so friendly. The only downer was that the car park is not big enough but there is not a great deal that can be done about that.

Lovely cafe, friendly polite staff, super food. Can sit indoors or nice garden area. We called after a nice walk round Langsett Reservoir. Would highly recommend.

Called in for the first time after a walk around Langsett reservoir. Husband had omelette and chips which he really enjoyed. I had cream tea and the scone was warm and so light! Really tasty. My friend had cake (can't remember the name of it) but it was packed with fruit and she loved it. Staff very nice and service was great. Will definitely be coming back!

The cafe provided a sausage sandwich with very little sausage i,at a expensive price .There is plenty more cafes locally that give a lot better service and a lot better food
