Gone Chocolate - Barnstable

I typically hit up little family owned chocolate shops when I am visiting someplace. Most of the reviews that I read were commenting on the ice cream, which I did not have. But I bought an assortment of chocolates and I have to say, even without considering the price, it was some of the worst candy that I have had. I tried a salted caramel first and it had a metallic taste to it and I threw it away. I tried another piece that was different but it had that same metallictaste to it and I threw that away. So half a pound of chocolates got thrown away because there was no redeeming quality to that. Honestly, Dove chocolate and my dad?s Russell Stover?s was better candy.

I came here because it was voted one of the top Fudge places on Cape Cod Times. I was extremely disappointed. The staff is clueless about their products. Fudge came out of a brown box meanwhile the article said it was made in store. The Store is moldy and tight. I will try the second place fudge winner instead. If you?re reading this and want fudge please do not go here, you will be disappointed.

The product is tasty stuff. My problem is with the way orders are kept while waiting to be picked up.Since the warmer months arrived my orders have come as soup. It?s NOT the delivery service.You can see where they are . I get less melted product from places further away.

Slightly obsessed with the coffee-Oreo ice cream... the icecream cakes are great, too!
