Applebee's - Barrie

Had the worst service ever. The server was terrible, didn't introduce us their name. We were a party of 5 and some order apps and some just ordered web. Well, the apps and some of the main thing came out. When the rest of the head came out, our friends were finished and had to wait for us. You have never checked quality any of the entrees. We order a raspberry lemon that was extremely sour and tart. There were two sips from the drink and asked for water and even told our server so sorry, but this is the usually acidic drink at all. We had to show the server that came by when she came by. After we submitted the bills, we had to ask for the drink to come out of the bill. There was only one channel for the whole bar and outside and even saw the family of 3, who sat in front of us, had to come inside and say how can we order? And her answer was sad, it's just me. There were only two more tables in the bar that sat after us. They had a food runner who brought the whole food out. There was sometimes someone behind the bar who made a few drinks and the server talked to her friend who made the drinks. We only found the name of the server from the search for the bill that was Nayia. The food was amazing, and we have diners here in the past and had excellent service. The hostess was super polite and even allowed us to move tables when we learned that 3 more people would come to us.

Four seniors visited the restaurant for an early dinner with reservations, but found it not busy at 5:00. They were quickly served by waiter Filipe, who took their drink orders and provided helpful suggestions. The group enjoyed their meals and found the portions to be generous, needing take-home containers. They appreciated Filipe's positive personality, making the dining experience enjoyable.

I ordered my food through Doordash. The burger was dry and overly greasy. It was so dry that I ended up throwing it away. However, the wings were delicious. It was the worst burger I have ever had and I regret ordering it. What a waste of money. I will not be ordering from there again.

1) The restaurant had a warm and friendly atmosphere with excellent service and an attentive manager. 2) The decor was personalized and had a touch of Barrie. 3) The top Sirloin was one of the most delicious I've ever had, cooked to a perfect medium rare. I highly recommend it! Enjoy!

First time at this Applebee 's since recent move to Barrie area. Ordered zesty buttermilk chicken sandwich and a classic cheeseburger, plus a side caesar salad that we returned due to 'old ' lettuce. Sandwiches were just okay, nothing special. Service was average. This location was not...as good as the one in Ajax, ON, but then the menu had been overhauled completely.
