Cariad Cafe - Barry

A charming little restaurant! I visited when the previous owner was still running the place, so I can’t speak to any changes that may have occurred since then. The food they prepare here is fantastic, especially as they allow you to cook your own steak on a hot stone, which adds a unique touch to the meal. I only tried the steaks this time, but I still want to explore the tapas menu. The desserts were outstanding, and I can't wait to come back in the future!

Had a beautiful steak at Cariad just yesterday. Huge, tasty fillet served on a hot stone... it was amazing! Also came with HOMEMADE chips which were also amazing! All the staff were really helpful and friendly, great customer service. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had. Definitely recommend!

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic and presented beautifully. Cooking on a stone was a brilliant concept. There were 20 of us, including vegetarians, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal.

The food was delicious and fresh, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, parking can be a bit challenging.

Thursday Steak-Deal was big £15 for a huge steak raw steak steak brought on a red hot stone plate, splash away. then they cook it themselves as they like it came with real chips not the frozen French fries, but real kartoffeln toms and mushrooms with a selection of sauces. great atmosphere. will definitely return.
