The presentation of the food was nice, but unfortunately it lacked any flavor and was quite bland. It was very disappointing. Additionally, some of the dishes did not seem fresh, such as the frozen carpaccio that was cooked on the side, bland pheasant, and instant mash. Overall, the meal was not worth the price of £60-70 per person. The service was decent, but the atmosphere was just average.

The food at this restaurant was delicious! We each enjoyed two courses during our dinner. The service was top-notch and the atmosphere was pleasant. The price per person was between £40-50. Overall, we would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a 4 out of 5.

This hotel is truly amazing from start to finish. The staff is absolutely excellent in every aspect, including the restaurants. The room has a beautiful view and is equipped with great amenities. The dining experience, both for dinner and breakfast, is high-quality. I must mention the excellent staff once again. I highly recommend this hotel.

My partner and I had a pleasant stay at Sharrow Bay on Ullswater in July. We enjoyed walking around the well-maintained gardens at the hotel, as shown in the photos. We also had a delightful afternoon at the restaurant. The staff were helpful, polite, and attentive. The breakfast service was a bit slow, but considering how busy it was that morning, it was understandable. Overall, it was a great experience. Just a heads up, the hotel is located down narrow streets that may be a bit challenging to navigate for larger vehicles.
