For lunch they do a buffet, meal menu, vegetarian, or chicken, lamb, or shrimp on the day I was there, served a really good portion in my case of the shrimp, then a masala corn and a cabbage dish with rice and a poppadom, for 11CHFs. really great price for a substantial meal, reasonably spicy (although less spicy korma was also available.) I'm looking forward to trying for dinner! One man serving who did a good and friendly job!
My girlfriend and I were visiting for the weekend and saw good reviews so thought we'd give it a shot. The place looks a little drab and seemed like the owner was doing everything but the food was brilliant; vegetable and chicken pakoras were the best I have ever had. Curry's were very traditional, had great portion size, left feeling more than satisfied! Wish it was open on a Sunday so we could of visited again!
Amazing food...amazing chef. We go very often and love every food we have eaten so far! The service is also really good and the restaurant has a friendly vibe!
We found the place from TripAdvisor and luckily it was next to our hotel. Food was really good, servise too and you can get takeaway drinks with even smaller price! Worth to visit if you don't need a fancy place.
This is exactly the kind of place in which one would probably not return without being incited by tripadvisor: an Indian scrub with view of the worksite toilet, located in a popular residential street at the back of the messeplatz, where one is served at the rice ladle and a assortment of vegetable curry and, at the choice, chicken or lamb if one eats meat. It is frankly rustic, absolutely not refined (the tables are not wiped out often, apparently) but it allows to recover quickly and for a really modest price for this city. It's also pretty good, and rather high: sensitive palate, attention.
