Armando's Bar & Grill - Bassano

Do not fit through bassano without visiting this amazing restaurant and bar. both are equally comfortable. armando owned two very high-end restaurants in calgary and decided to do small town instead. he has a great variety of pastas, pizzas and appetizers. his sauces are all boiled to home and so his deserts are (too die for! very cheap and he always has great specialties!

On the journey from edmonton to brooks, my hungry friends and I decided to dinner here on a random laune and young, we have had luck! the pasta was so amazing, we ended another especially the tomato based seafood spaghetti and. the armando. the $8 1 pound wing on wing night (tues, wed, thurs) was not only when buying a drink at the bar.

Our volleyball group was treated so great here and everyone was more than satisfied. In the first night only my husband and I went to dinner, it was our anniversary and we had a nice evening. Ashely waited for us and she was so...fun and treated us great. The food was amazing, fresh homemade pasta and the salmon was perfect. Next night our group went from at least 20 to 930! They took care of us, even though they were close. Amazing the food stopped coming, all delicious. The pizza took longer, but they said it was worth waiting. Hard to believe that a man and a waitress could treat all this and the extra people in the bar. It's really nice in the resturant and the menu is big.

You have to take the Trans Canada to try this jewel in Bassano. Great pasta and salads as well as a very friendly staff. Try it once and you will be back. That's the good!

After a day at Dinosaur Provincial Park, we were very hungry. So hungry we didn 't want to wait until we got back to Calgary. That said, we also didn 't want to eat just anywhere. And that 's where Armando 's comes in. The special 's on offer were...outstanding (cabbage rolls and chicken Sambuca). Our Caesar salad was perfect (no stinting on the garlic or the Parmesan). In summer, Armando has his own vegetable garden nearby testimony to his commitment to absolutely fresh. So, if you find yourself in east Alberta say on your way to Medicine Hat or returning to Calgary after a day of dinosaur hunting be sure to stop at Armando 's in Bassano. You will be delighted!
