After placing my order for £3.70, she informed me that there was a minimum £5 spend requirement. I wished she had mentioned that earlier, so I decided to decline. She then suggested an additional 50p charge instead, which I also refused, noting that it is illegal to add charges for using a card. Despite her protests and verbal abuse, I left my order of sausage and chips with her. Unfortunately, this experience was memorable for the wrong reasons. I do not plan on returning, and based on the appearance and attitude of the staff, I can only assume that some of the other reviews are outdated.
The staff at this restaurant were friendly and the fish and chips were excellent. The fish was large, white, and the batter was crispy, served with delicious chips. I was very impressed and will definitely come back again.
I frequent this fish and chip shop in the Yorkshire village where my mother resides whenever I visit home about once a month. When I have a craving for fish and chips, there's only one place I go - the Codfather. The quality is always top-notch, the staff are fantastic, and overall it's unbeatable.
Eat here from time to time, never disappointed, had to review today as it was outstanding. Fish was absolutely beautiful, chips good and not greasy. The lady is always friendly and smiley, just the way it should be at your local chippy
Very consistent fish and chip shop in Harworth. Always good quality and always served with a smile..
