Palmar Beach Lodge - Bastimento

They stay in the dormitory room that is comfortable and who loved showers. but this is where it ends because of the staff. I started to make sure that I had done something to annoy them before I found out everyone else had the same experience. the worst is in the restaurant, where it can be completely empty, working with 4 employees and not yet offering them a menu. if they have one themselves, they will not take their order. at two separate locations I sat there 45 minutes to tie the waiters in an empty restaurant, just to be ignored. was quite shocking. they don't smile or say hello. it only brought down the whole mood to see that the staff didn't want to be there so clearly and we are not happy when they were busy with them. they talk about customers in Spanish if they don't think they understand. the list continues and will be honest. eating is also quite rough and rough overpriced.

The bungalow was clean and well maintained. eating was very good, prices reasonable and the atmosphere very covered. we stayed for a week and loved to see cecelios smile daily. beach was very beautiful and the landscape amazing. the walk from the harbour can be difficult if it is difficult to pack. definitiw pack them what they wear comfortably for a 1/2 mile. we will be back here!

The location on white sandy beach is stunning. can't be beaten! double room had the softest, most beautiful bed linen I had ever had in a hotel and the room is well designed and ordered. as everyone else says. the service for drinks and eating is extremely hit and miss. they can sweat over the same time, etc., but it is not what I experienced elsewhere in panama.

I was three nights in the tent. it was absolutely wonderful, the sound of the waves in the far and the cheerful scream. and of course the beach is beautiful here. the restaurant was great and I was very happy with every meal, especially at the beginning of the day. the service was good overall, although it was a bit mixed. there were two waiters who were wonderful and they even learned my name that was nice, and there was also a very new and undertrained waiter who fought a bit. Everyone who comes here should be aware of this. this place is free. they do not have access to a huge pool of workers and they may not have the product they want to have available on this day, but overall it was an absolutely wonderful experience and I dream to come back there for a whole week. oh, and fired Wednesday was a great opportunity to socialize with the other guests

Very expensive hotel with „open“ rooms. All reptiles and insects are welcome to sleep with you because the nets are old and broken. Restaurant service was not friendly and de-motivated at the lunch time. For check-in the personal was not welcoming and let us wait without a clear reasoning for over 10 minutes. Atmosphere in the evening is good.
