Very very overpriced for very small serves. Daughter made an observation that the Kitchen looked filthy. Very disappointing meal to start 2017.
After reading some reviews, I was apprehensive about the food at this restaurant. However, since I had just finished a bottle of wine and was not driving, I decided to give it a try for dinner. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The service was quick and efficient. The prices were a bit higher than what I would typically pay at home, but I expected that since I was on a mini-holiday. Overall, I would not hesitate to order takeout from this restaurant again.
The wait for the meal was lengthy and disappointing. I ordered a prawn omelette, but the prawns were frozen and lacking in flavor. It was disappointing to see frozen seafood used in an area abundant with fresh seafood. Additionally, the omelette was overcooked and burnt on the bottom. This was the worst Chinese meal I have ever had.
We were pleasantly surprised! Some of the best dishes we have tasted - a few dishes beat or home favourites!!! Top quality slices of chicken breast was used, not other parts of the bird. Ingredients were fresh with vibrant colours and flavours. A quiet restaurant on a week night during off peak season. Pleasant service. Reasonable prices. Decor and ambience is typical of small local Chinese restaurants we know and enjoy across most Australian towns and cities.
