While the service was passable, the meals our group payed top dollar for left us stopping by Macca's on the way home. From gristly, flavourless stake, overcooked dry fish and a salty oily salad to a $20 dish providing four frozen prawns, some loose spinach leaf and inedible rice drowned in cream, this restaurant finally had me fulfilling my Gordon Ramsay dream of picking apart a meal rather than eating it. I can promise you won't have to worry about serving size, as no-one in our group was able to fully finish their meal. Even when washing it down with sub-par, watery cocktails, the only true highlight was the complimentary table water. With an overall cost of over $200 for the group (not budgeting for being well overcharged for the wine), this meal was truly a once in a lifetime experience (I hope).
