Great spot for breakfast! Excellent service and affordable prices.

Crowded tables, diner ambience, nice servers and excellent food. Each day there is a listing of three entrees and several vegetables for a very reasonable price. The meal includes a well-stocked salad bar if you overlook the iceberg lettuce, excellent white corn bread and a cobbler or other dessert. I had lassagna which was noodles, meat, cheese and red sauce all mushed together-it was excellent and I could only eat about half of the serving. I also got spinach and home-made mashed potatoes with gravy. Drink is extra. You will go away tick full with pleasant memories of the food.

Had to downgrade the rating. The last time I was here, one of the cooks was constantly turning around from the grill and shoveling some sort of finger food in her mouth. I mentioned it to my waitress who said she'd take it up with someone in charge. Same story today, cook standing over the grill and a waitress nearby, both smacking on something savory in the kitchen, and a Yeti cup on the food prep counter. Pretty sure these are blatant health code violations. Middle of the road. Solid southern style breakfast. Kinda cramped and crowded

This charming little family diner is surprisingly impressive. It's hard to beat a complete breakfast for just $5.25, and the coffee is great too!
