Old Town Burger Breakfast

Excellent food and service in a little out of the way location in Battleground,

Well I was a little disappointed. I am from the Chicago area so when I heard someone served Italian beef I decided to take the drive out from Vancouver. I got there right at 12 when they started serving lunch and ordered the Italian beef. The waitress came back and told they had ran out? So I ordered a Reuben sandwich which was good and asked if they usually serve the Italian beef. She said they did but they had run out yesterday? Italian beef is basically sliced beef cooked in sauce with Italian spices. Also when I went to leave I was waiting for the check and apparently there are none. This made it difficult to determine the tip which I left at the cash register after I learned my total.

This was a very good burger. The fries, onion ring and tots were great as well. There is something wonderful about a burger that is juicy on the inside while the outside has the caramelization that is unique to the flattop grill. I hope to return for breakfast or maybe a repeat of a classic burger and rings!

Good food. Good service. They could use a new sign. The one they have is kinda ugly. It makes me wonder about the kitchen. If it's like their sign. Somethings, I guess I would be better not knowing. It's funny how the dumb things bug me.
