Madrock Cafe - Bay Roberts

I absolutely adore this restaurant. It is conveniently located right next to one of the most stunning hikes you'll ever experience, and it is truly one of a kind. The service is exceptional, the atmosphere is unique and charming, and it has been voted the best place for toutons in Newfoundland by Downhomer Magazine. It's family-run and you can definitely feel the love and care put into everything they do.

The restaurant claims to have the best toutans in Newfoundland, but you'll have to ask a local to confirm that. What they do offer is a fantastic atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious food, which is all we really want anyway. If you're in Bay Roberts, be sure to stop by.

The restaurant offers traditional Newfoundland dishes such as All Day Breakfast, homemade Fish Cakes, Fish Brewis, Toutons, Soups, Bake Beans, and my personal favorite, Homemade Bread which makes the best toast. It's like the food your grandmother would make if she were still alive and from Newfoundland. Madrock is not just a restaurant, it's a cultural experience. We dined alongside a diverse crowd of happy customers, from grannies to babies, the fitness enthusiasts to the more laid-back individuals, all enjoying Sunday breakfast together.

Been going here for years. The owners are nice people so are the girls working the floor. Sausage, bacon, eggs, toutons etc are always good! Its a small spot with a Newfoundland vibe to it.
