Bayside Diner

Went to diner early dinner, price for dinner was very reasonable. Large portions, couldn't believe the size of the dessert, I ordered a cake and it was huge. Waiter kept bringing water, and asking if we needed anything else. Food was excellent .

I had a mixed experience at this restaurant. I ordered pancakes and Turkey bacon with a pink lemonade, but found the syrup to be watery and not to my liking. My initial drink was incorrect and had some black objects in the ice. Despite requesting a new drink without ice, I still received it with ice. However, the staff were friendly and accommodating, especially with the large group of children I was with. They engaged with the kids and were very pleasant. The restaurant offers valet parking after a certain time on Saturdays. When we arrived at 10:00AM, the parking lot and restaurant were empty, but by the time we left at 11:30AM, it was quite busy. We were seated outside in a decorated area for Halloween, which added to the nice ambiance. The prices were reasonable and not overpriced.

Really serviceable diner. That says a lot. Don't need extravagance out of a diner but need to be able to pick up and go and know you'll be satisfied that you are there. This place always manages that. Staff are pretty friendly as well so all good.

The staff at this restaurant are very friendly and attentive. I ordered the burger deluxe and was pleased to find that the fries were hot and super crispy. The two crispy onion rings were a nice touch. The portion of lettuce and tomato slices was generous in my opinion. The burger itself was just okay - the meat was cooked well and of good quality, and the cheese was melted nicely. My only complaint is that I would have preferred the bun to be slightly toasted to prevent it from getting too mushy or falling apart. Overall, not a bad option for diner food in the area.
