Bonchon Chicken Bayside, Ny

The flavored fries were incredibly dry and lacked any real taste. When I opened the container, I found the flavorings crumbled at the bottom—such a disappointment!

I ordered some wings for pickup and they were terrible. They tasted stale and dry and flavorless. And they were super small. In this economy, you think I have money to waste? Smh

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The place was clean. You must be patient as they cook to order though. It is a very small place with about 3-4 tables. The food was tasty (ckn legs, wings,, Cole slaw) but the garlic parmesian fries were a little strange because they were sweet! Not the taste Iwas looking for! Also the Bayside location, due to it's size, does not have a full menu. You must travel 10 more minutes westward to their Flushing location for that. Otherwise, it's worth the trip to try it at least once and you'll see.

I’ve had Bonchon in Manhattan so I wanted to try to Bayside location since it was closer. I came the other day and it was great. Food came out at a reasonable time. I had the small combo (6 wings and 3 drums) with a side of kimchi and coleslaw. Chicken was great, the batter was light and airy not greasy at all. The sides countered the chicken very well. My food came up to about 20 bucks. My server was really good and I gave a tip at the end. Will def be coming back.

The chicken flavor was decent, but it wasn’t very crispy. The soy garlic sauce was a bit too salty, and I found myself really thirsty later on. The prices were reasonable, though. Also, I was surprised to find that the seasoned fries had some sugar on them, making them overly salty and sweet.
